Kolob Snobs Unite! Can't believe I made this delicious cold brew at home...seriously, saying goodbye to the evil empire coffee budget!

The brew tube is easy to use and easy to clean. You basically fill tube with coffee (and flavor fixins' if you want), fill Mason jar with water, drop in the brew tube, seal the jar and 24 hours later..voila!
My favorite cold brew recipe is Mexican Mocha! Here's the fixins:
48oz Mason jar
1 cup ground coffee
2 heaping Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2 tsp cinnamon
Dash cayenne - all into the brew tube!
After 24 hours remove brew tube. Add stevia & your favorite creamer to taste. You are now enjoying the most tasty and low cal mocha you can imagine! Smooth and velvety finish, Ole!

As if that's not good enough, the clean up is super easy too. Set the brew tube in your sink for a bit while it dries out and with a simple tap all the grounds fall out for easy clean up (WAY easier & cleaner than french press).

You will not regret this purchase..go for it!

The Kolob Brew Tube is, in a word, awesome. I'd been cold brewing for 2 summers now using a time consuming, double filtering procedure utilizing a wire strainer, and a funnel with a paper filter inserted. The $17 investment in the Brew Tube eliminated so much time and mess from the process. Great product, well made. I like dark roast coffee brewed strong, so for best results, I've found that using a medium/coarse grind and allowing 36 hours to brew works best. After filling the tube with fresh ground coffee, and following with water to fill the jar, I put the lid on the jar (make sure the lid is on, it's a tight fit with the tube in place), invert and gently swirl for a few seconds. I repeat the invert and swirl every few hours during the 36 hour brew time. In the end, I am rewarded with dark, strong, slightly viscous coffee that is not bitter. Total win.

II'm still learning how to use this to get the right concentrate of cold brew and I have used another cold brew system for years. I like to make my coffee very concentrated and strong, and I am still working on how to get that result. That way I only use about 1/4 cup of coffee and add hot water. the coffee I brew with this is not as strong, but still has a smooth good taste. I just use more of the brewed coffee for each cup (3/4).I did receive an email about different ways to use this, I will try their suggestions for a stronger concentrate. It would not be difficult to use this daily to stay ahead of always having cold brew on hand. What I do like is there is very little fuss, and no worries about the filter popping out and ending up with a lot of grounds in your coffee.

This is the cold brew solution I've been looking for! So easy, no mess and delicious results. Just plop the filter in a wide mouth jar (make sure you have a wide mouth--I used a 64 ounce Ball jar) scoop in your choice of coffee, fill the jar with water, stir it up, cover (the lid for the jar will fit over the filter!) and chill 24 hours.
The filter is solidly manufactured and lifts right out of the jar revealing your cold brew. Delicious. Easy. Pour over ice!
The best part (besides the resulting brew) is the ease of clean up. Cleaning up after other cold brew methods has always been a challenge, with the Brew Tube you just tip the filter into your compost or your trash and, boom! The grounds fall right out. True love right there.

Love my Kolob Brew Tube! Sturdy. Easy to clean. Hand wash or throw in the Dishwasher. If I want an ice coffee drink in the early afternoon, I just grab the Kolob Brew Tube (partially filled with coffee grounds and placed in a 3/4 water filled mason jar Sitting in the fridge) Then I can fill a glass of ice and pour my cold seeped coffee over it, add a bit of cream and Kewl, I've got Heaven.

I've also tried cold brewing ice tea and it's so great to just grab the Kolob Brew Tube out of the brewing container and all tea bags are right there!
