An enjoyable second chance romance following the emotional journey to a HEA. With a beautiful tropical backdrop, this story will have the reader dreaming of clear blue waters, sandy beaches and steamy romantic nights with that someone special. I originally bought this as a compilation, 25 delightful reads from various authors 'Tropical Tryst ' unfortunately no longer available in that form. Now released as a separate book with it's own eye-catching cover. First sight and I loved this cover.... I was intrigued, and curious to discover the story behind 'that look' given by the female cover model. What is the secret behind this look ? Easy sweet read.
Finn and Liv knew each other way back when....and thanks to a case of "revenge" they grew apart. In this story, we get to see their struggles on finding their way back to each other.
Written as a multi pov with a HEA. Had nice amount of back story to fill us in on how things went wrong, and helped us to make it all right again. Strong story line, good descriptions to details that make it easy to visualize, nice character development and engaging dialogue.
All in all, an entertaining read.

Sassy Beta Reading & Review
Liv and Finn were from opposite social backgrounds but fell in love when they were younger. He was the rich heir to his father’s company and she was the daughter of a hoarder mother. When he wanted time away from his father, he stayed with Liv and her mother. They fell in love. But there is Tucker who kept coming between them — a guy I wanted to strangle! Ten years later they are in Jamaica for a team building week. Finn wants the truth behind what kept them apart.
This is an amazing book and I give it 10/10.
Cold & Hottie, is a delicious page-turner set in an exotic setting. A believable novel with well-crafted, likable characters, (mostly - I won't spoil the fun), I found myself laughing, nodding in agreement, and commiserating with both Olivia and Finn. Their stories are spooled out with just the right amount of tension, back-story, humour, and romance.
I delighted with Cold & Hottie, and the novel's unexpected and satisfying ending.
P.S. Loved the cameo from one of the "Oldsters"!
