About the Author
Jon Moseley began helping the people under Soviet captivity at High Frontier and the Center for Peace and Freedom, working to refute Kremlin propaganda and oppose the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. The author feels the West needs to complete its Cold War victory by teaching and spreading democracy and free enterprise. He loved teaching business in Latvia and consulting on project finance and venture capital there. He is now a Virginia commercial attorney, after five years at the U.S. Department of Education. He holds a law degree from George Mason University and a finance degree from the University of Florida. He attended Eaglebrook and Deerfield Schools along with a then-young Abdullah, who is now King of Jordan.
The concept for Cold Peace was suggested by Randall Brooks -- now Phillips. In 1988, Randall performed in the Soviet Union in a musical cultural exchange named 'Peace Child,' which was broadcast on Soviet national television, challenging Soviet dogma. She then insisted that this author visit that exotic and fascinating world. She spent seven years as a national television journalist, including in the White House press corps, campaigned in politics, performed on Broadway in Annie, and is a truly gifted, magnificent singer.
Although this novel had to be adjusted after September 11, 2001, the themes and warnings of our dangerous world presented by this novel were already written years before that tragic day in September 2001. Moseley also was Christine O'Donnell's campaign manager in 2008 for her primary and her Treasurer

Ridiculous scenes, set ups and unbelievable card board characters make this one of the crummiest books I have picked up. Granted after page 30 it might have improved- but I would rather drill a hole in my head than try to find out.
To bad Amazon does not have negative ratings- say a "black hole" rather than a star.
With regards to the other "glowing reviews" these HAVE To be schills for the author. No one would put their reputation at risk stating that this book is worthy of anything other than the recycling bin.
