I’m a knife collector and enthusiast. I love big folders and this large Luzon by cold steel is a fantastic blade. Stout, good blade stock, good quality steel at this price point. Still lightweight and compact for the pocket. It’s a fun and absurdly large, almost novelty knife but like all cold steel knives, it’s very capable. Of the dozens of knife brands I own, from budget to custom, cold steel still produces the best factory edge of any knife I’ve ever used. Incredibly sharp out of the box and aus8/10 steel takes a razor sharp edge but is easy for even a novice to sharpen. This is the most knife you can get for the money, in my opinion. Cold steel’s knives have increased in price since they were bought out by another company and sometimes for the worse but it’s nice when you still have very fun, affordable options in this price range. Phenomenal knife and I highly recommend you get one, and one for a friend.
