Overall, I am very happy with my purchase. I am confident that this blade can handle anything in its way during my next camping trip.
The Cold Steel description says that this a knife for hunters and survivalist in a mid-weight package. I concur with that statment.
I am fortunate to own Cold Steels Espada and a Spartan. Call me nuts but I believe the Bush Ranger is a stronger knife.
Particularly, I am impressed with the tip of the blade. It's thicker then any of my knives, yet incredibly pointy and can go through the toughest material with not much effort.
I would prefer a little bigger thumb plate, but I am nitpicking really.
Possibly, the last knife i have ever purchased. Well, i love it so much that I came here to get a spare. So, do I recommend it?
The action smoothed out over the first few hours and now is like butter. It waves easily when drawn from your pocket.
An unbelievable value from Cold Steel. It easily beats any Emerson, Benchmade, or Zero Tolerance knife that I own.
