Plus they sharpened the blade all the way to the notch now instead of leaving a few millimeters unsharpened like they used to! So this is a little different from the pics! I might add photos later. I have the Mini Recon in Spear and Clip plus the Recon 1 Tanto and they are not sharpened all the way to the notch. Weird.
I just don't like the finger grooves somewhat. My hands are smaller so for a tight grip I end up on the pointed grooves a bit. Other than that, awesome knife.
It's oversized for sure, but definitely worth the price. Steel is fantastic, keeps an edge very well and is easy-ish to sharpen. The lock still blows my mind, lateral wiggle is minimal. (Think brand new buck out of the box)
I have beat the crap out of this thing and it still works better than any other blade I have carried.
