This is part of a series of bad westerns following in the footsteps of "A Cold Day in Hell," and "All Hell Broke Loose". Michael Madsen appears more on the cover than he does in the film. This is the story of Cole Younger (Cody McCarver) and how the Pinkerton agency tracked him down. The story comes from Frank James (Braxton Williams) telling the real story to a reporter Mr. Cummings (Nick Smith). The saga consists mostly of things Frank wouldn't know such as the inner workings of the Pinkerton Agency and their recruiting, but I was willing to give them that.

Like the other films, the camera has a hard time being on the face of the person doing the talking. The lines were delivered in stereotypical western monotone, even the women simply read lines. The black train was owned by Emmet Black (Jerry Chesser) who drove the train up and down any track at will. It appeared to have been a symbol for death or the Grim Reaper, although it was haphazardly integrated into the plot. The movie attempts to be humorous by adding characters like Crazy Pa (Richard Kinsey) a man who once ate his horse and Shotgun (Ronald Bumgardner) a man who owns a shotgun pistol. Even Taylor-Grace Davis who played Alice was laughably bad.

The film might be fun to watch because it is bad, although lacks some of the camp value of previous productions. If you thought "A Cold Day in Hell", and "All Hell Broke Loose" were good, then this film shouldn't bother you.

PARENTAL GUIDE: No F-bombs, sex, nudity or acting. Uses "A" word and makes references to a shotgun up the butt.

Cody McCarver plays Cole Younger in this action packed western about the James Gang and the Pinkerton agency that stayed one step behind them until the end. You will learn some great historical information, as well as see some of the great shootouts.

This was the worst movie I have ever watched. I should say started to watch. I finally gave up on this slow, hard to watch movie at the scene, when shotgun and his partner were arguing about the pistol shotgun. Back and forth, it is, it is not for two minutes, the end of the movie for me. First movie that I did not watch completely. Boring to the point, of the shotgun pistol and hard to watch.

Well, I enjoyed it. In spite of all the negatives, was pretty good story line. The acting not so much, but was to be expected with only two actors in it. But I kinda like the fresh feel of no-names doing their best. The sound effects were terrible, the guns sounded like cap guns, I mean literally caps on black powder guns, and the guns all shot smoke like black powder guns too. Like I say, it was a pretty good story, fair acting, bad effects. But, given the lack of excellent to good movies from Amazon, it were a fair exchange of money. If you're bored & got the money, like westerns with a get together with your friends & make a movie feel, then by all means give it a shot. Pun intended pahdnah!

I don't know how people can rate this movie 5 stars. It was the most horrible movie I've seen. Acting was horrible. These guys are shooting at one another, and it sounded like cap guns. There was no realism at all. The only plus was the scenery.
I've seen some of the old westerns that looked realistic at least. Couldn't miss with actors like Randolph Scott, or Audie Murphy. Micheal Marsden was the only actor I recognized, and it wasn't his best effort either. Save your money on this one. I can't remember the last time I saw a movie as crummy as this one.
