Bought this for the turtles to use during winter months when they can't bask in the sun outside. It works well. Cord was long enough and the on/off switch being further down the cord, prevents any heat touching my hand when I turn it off. Its exactly what I wanted, so am happy with the purchase. And the turtles seem pretty happy too.
