From the manufacturer
Simplifies packing by locking the edges of the bag together to keep your bag straight as you roll it up.
Uses a zipper guide to push fabric away from the zipper's teeth for snag-free opening and closing.
Adds plush material to the edge of the bag, giving you soft, relaxing comfort close to your face while you sleep.
Reduces heat loss through the zipper by using a full-length draft tube around the zipper to lock in warmth.

Ideal for camping at higher altitudes or in cooler months, the Coleman Dunnock Cold Weather Adult Sleeping Bag helps you sleep comfortably in temperatures as low as 20 degrees Fahrenheit. This sleeping bag features Fiberlock construction that keeps the insulation from shifting, reducing cold spots and increasing durability. A cotton cover and ultra-soft cotton flannel liner also keep you warm, as well as a Thermolock draft tube that prevents heat loss through the zipper. The bottom of the bag unzips to provide extra ventilation on warmer nights. A two-way patented ZipPlow zipper system plows fabric away from the zipper to prevent snags and frustration. And the Roll Control design and Wrap 'N Roll integrated packing system make this lightweight backpacking sleeping bag easy to roll and pack. The Dunnock Big and Tall Cold Weather Adult Sleeping Bag has a spacious design that can accommodate most people up to 5 feet 11 inches in height. It is machine washable for easy cleaning.

I've used this sleeping bag mostly for car/boat-in camping trips (not hiking), although usually in remote areas in cold weather (down to -5C / 20 F).
1.) Lots of room.
2.) Cotton/fleece type lining is comfortable (not some stupid, shiny nylon material against your skin).
3.) Zipper is outstanding. Very easy to open/close, large zipper handle.
4.) Reasonably rugged material has lasted very well.
1.) NOT very warm at all. Polyester fill is simply not warm. It's a $50 sleeping bag, so I guess you can't expect much. IF YOU ARE IN A TENT AT -5C / 20F YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY COLD UNLESS YOU HAVE A LAYER OF CLOTHES ON AND ANOTHER SLEEPING BAG UNDERNEATH YOU (TO KEEP GROUND COLD OUT). PERIOD.
THE TEMPERATURE RATING FOR THIS BAG SHOULD PROBABLY BE NO LOWER THAN +10C / 50F.
We have 5 of these sleeping bags now. Not all the same exact model but all very similar. I have been really happy with these sleeping bags. We use them mostly in our camp trailer but I have used them several times for tent camping also. A couple of the things that I like a lot about them are the little toggle buttons on the side of the bag to help hold it together for rolling up. Its a small item but it really does work. The other small item I like is the non-snag zippers, they work! I have a few other sleeping bags of different brands and I am constantly getting zipper snags. That pretty much is non-existent with these zippers.
The exterior fabric is not a super heavy duty fabric like a canvas material. If you are rough on your camping equipment, or will be doing a lot of outdoor camping you may want to opt for a heavier duty material. I still expect these to last a long long time, a couple of these we have had for 6-7 years and they are good as new still.
I am not one who gets cold too often camping so I am probably not the best to comment on the temperature rating but for me I have slept comfortable in these bags down to the 30 degree range in a tent.
These are great bags for kids and young scouts for tent camping.
I am very happy with these bags and will probably buy a few more to replace other lesser quality bags that we have.
I could have saved my past self several weeks of indecision if I had been able to access the Ancestry.com report of this sleeping bag.
It doesn't qualify as a second cousin twice removed but that sibling no one knew about. The comfort and warmth of this sleeping bag takes me back to my childhood and the big and tall size makes me feel like I'm a teeny child curled up in flannel and fluff. I tested the bag several days just to confirm my flashbacks and in my journey, I managed to convert a friend of mine, who now swears that this sleeping bag may end up among her things if I don't watch it. (Fortunately, she is tiny and I can take her if need be.)
The only downside I have to this sleeping bag is the way the bag is stored. The older sibling of this bag didn't have a storage case, preferring the roll and tie up method that I have mastered after years of using it. This one has a feeble little flap that is supposed to act like a bag but apparently flunked out of bag school a long time ago. Fortunately, since I have mastered the art of rolling, it doesn't take long to get it into the flappity doo dah that is attached to this thing. Good luck getting it to look like one cohesive piece, though.
Would definitely recommend this sleeping bag to anyone interested in staying warm in cooler climates. It makes for a fantastic cover for an air mattress as well as comforter in a pinch. I will amend my review once I'm able to take it camping. (My expectation is that it is not as water resistant as some of the other bags in the market but as long as it is warm, I should be cozy.)
