More than 100 years ago, a young man with an entrepreneurial spirit and a better idea began manufacturing lanterns in Wichita, Kansas. His name was W.C. Coleman, and the company he founded would change life in America. A man plagued with such poor vision he sometimes had to ask classmates to read aloud to him, Coleman saw a brilliant light in 1900 in a drugstore window that stopped him in his tracks. He inquired about the light inside and discovered he was able to read even the small print on a medicine bottle by the illumination. The lamps had mantles, not wicks, and were fueled by gasoline under pressure instead of coal oil. Soon afterward, Coleman started a lighting service that offered a "no light, no pay" clause--a big step forward for merchants who were burned by inferior products that rarely worked--and drew substantial interest from businesses that wanted to keep their lights on after dark. In the ensuing years, Coleman expanded its product line well beyond lanterns. The company's current catalog is thick with products that make spending time outdoors a pleasure. There are coolers that keep food and drinks cold for days on end, comfortable airbeds that won't deflate during the night, a complete line of LED lights that last for years, powerful portable grills that cook with an authentic open-grill flame, and much, much more. Coleman has truly fashioned much of our outdoor camping experience, and expects to do so for generations to come.

about 7 ft at the highest point, the shaded area (today) is 7 ft it varies a little with time of day.
the distance across the bottom 12ft I also measured at 32 inches above the ground where a chair or picnic table might be and it is 9.5 ft. All the measurements are on the flats of the hexagon not the points.
I also tried it with the poles collapsed to see how it would work as shade at the beach or for kids in the yard. With the tie downs I think it would work well. I measured that too. 3.5 ft highest point and 10 ft across the bottom.
It is very light weight material and very portable. I definitely recommend this product.
The canopy goes up easily by myself in less than 45 seconds, and taken down by myself in even less time. Over the last 4 years, the only issues I had were human error - I bent one of the hinges the wrong direction a LITTLE too far and its popped out of place and I lost the bolt that holds it together. It still functions fine, I just have to be aware of that joint (ill fix it one of these days, just needs a simple bolt and nut). And my other mistake was tying down the top middle of the canopy to a table on a windy day. Normally this was fine with light gusts of wind. But on this particular day, the canopy needed to have the ability to flex with the wind, and by tying it down, the ties just ripped out of the canvas. Neither of the above mentioned inhibit my use/enjoyment of the tent.
Likely in a few years, i'll just cave and buy a new one. Its definitely worth it if you beach/camp/picnic in the park/etc.
Though size says 15x13ft, it does not look that big when actually pitched on ground. This is floor dimension, poles are slanted, so effective usage area is around 12x9ft, good enough for a small get together at beach/park or to cover picnic table at camping.
Bit on a heavier side and no rolling wheels in cover. Either you shouldshould be strong to carry it to longer distance or buy a trolley/lawn cart.
Since there is no floor, bottom of mesh is open giving access to bugs to come inside. This can be taken care by putting pebbles/sand bags on outer rim of mesh
