All natural, no chemicals, no poly anything. This is not a "green-washed" mattress. It is all plant fiber! That is the biggest pro and was my prime reason for buying this mattress. There really does not need to be any other pros. No offgassing. I feel great about her sleeping on it.
People may want to be aware that it is a firmer mattress. It doesn't have the nifty feature of the even more expensive one of being two-sided. I was willing to sacrifice that to get a great safe mattress. With the natural wool puddle pad (which you need to protect the coconut fiber) and the super thick all-natural (non-waterproof) mattress pad, it is pretty soft. I only used the puddle pad under a sheet when she was an infant and have added the cushy pad now that it is safe for her to have more padding.
PS... I saw the review about changing the sheets before I bought it and almost had the same problem. Then I found it is super duper easier to pull the mattress completely out before changing sheet then lobbing it back in. It's a little heavy but I was able to do it on my own without asking for hubby's help.
