However on the 3rd day I used it at night before going to sleep and without rinsing my mouth after. When I woke up it felt like my gums and inside of my lips had a burn, and they were bright red. I (stupidly) didn’t correlate this to the mouth wash. And since this mouth wash is meant to help with mouth sores I continued to use it for another 3 days. By this time the inside of my lips were completely swollen and starting to develop sores. I was in complete agony, I could hardly talk and was going to see the doctor since I thought I had gotten some sort of illness. Then it dawned on me.... what if the cause is mouth wash for mouth sores? Within 24 hours of not using the product the swelling was completely gone and the pain had significantly reduced. Within 48 hours my lips were almost back to normal like nothing had happened.
Lesson Learned: Read the label on the back of the bottle! It clearly states that if any of those symptoms occur to discontinue use immediately.
Don’t be stupid like me. Know that there is a possibility of having an adverse reaction to this product. And stop using it if it doesn’t work for you like it should.
The dentist wanted to go back into the root canal and cleae the bacterial infection but she also mentioned that it may not take care of the problem. If it doesnt would have to remove that tooth and replace. Umm no, way to costly... after some research, I needed a mouth wash to kill this bacteria and I had a hard time finding one with hydrogen peroxide at 1.5% which is meant to help with killing bacteria.
Boom, found this and used this just once a day (at night) and the abssess became soft and eventually popped. Then eventually kept draining and slowly went away.
I purchased like 6 bottles of these and also have one in my kids bathroom. I use it every night still since my dental health isn't the best but I have my kids regularly use this several times a week, not that silly kids mouth wash that probably does nothing.
Moral of the story, highly recommend!
One more thing I wanted to add.. i started having my daughter use it when I saw she had inflamed gums due to food being stuck in a cavity. After I cleaned it out (removed the food), I told her to use this mouth wash.. boom! No more inflamed gums.
Please incorporate this into your dental routine!

Tastes strange as need to wash around mouth for a minute plus but its well worth it as certainly reduces swelling and helps.
