I will admit I didn't read all the stories in this collection. I had read a couple of books by this author when the stories were offered separately. To me these come across as outlines for what the author is aiming for, but she never got around to fleshing them out.
There was little interaction between the main characters, so how did they fall in love? The heroines were as dull as dish water and the heroes weren't much better. The romance aspect had all the zip of a damp firecracker.
I prefer longer stories myself but this is a good book for people wanting a short story. I read them all and they were decent stories if they were made into a full book I would read it. I received this book for free and I'm voluntarily giving a review.
This volume contains seven very short stories, almost any of which would serve as a basis for a full-length novel. There is no connection between one story and any other, so each one is a new reading experience.
The stories are too short to have any real depth and thus can be read whenever you have a little time to fill. Aside from a few errors, I found all of the stories to be enjoyable.
