Having read and reviewed this author’s first book, “It Begins and Ends with Family,” I found this book “A Collection of Jo Ann’s Thoughts,” to be an excellent companion.
While her first book dwelled about the author and her husband’s experiences fostering 75 teenagers, mostly at-risk boys from dysfunctional families: this book as the author states in her description is “a collection of articles on a variety of topics including parenting and foster parenting, relationship and family activities, party planning and miscellaneous articles. It contains 60 articles.”
Although the vast majority of those reading this might not be fostering children, you do have children of their own. Raising children, regardless of whether they’re being fostered, adopted, or have been given birth to, you’ve probably come to realize that they at times can be quite problematical. And it’s at times like these you’d want to have some guidance in handling those situations.
Having had to deal with more diversified situations than you can probably imagined, the 60 articles contained in this book by the author can serve as a marvelous reference tool to help resolve the situations you’re experiencing with your children, like coming up with ideas for parties, etc.
For wanting to share the wealth of knowledge she has accumulated through the continuous years of fostering children with all parents, I’m glad to give Mrs. Wentzel 5 STARS for her endeavor here.
