This is a really good textbook. Each chapter is just the right length, and there are tons of examples. At the end of each chapter, there are like 100 practice problems to test your understanding. The answers to the odd practice problems are also included in the back. The thing I like the most about this book is the summary at the end of each chapter, great for looking up for formulas while doing homework and studying(cramming) for the exam.

***This IS a College Physics textbook, so better brush up your geometry skills before reading this. Emphasis on "VECTORS." Vector addition, subtraction, and vector components.

Required reading for my course. This book sometimes jumps ahead in subject material without letting you know. This makes the chapter exercises frustrating. Do not waste money on the solutions manual. If you are looking for detailed explainations for problems, you do not get them. Someone with lots of Physics experience and no entry level teaching experience must have written the solutions manual. This text is pretty good but I still find myself looking for other resources to explain concepts.

Awesome college physics textbook with lots of pictures, diagrams and free body diagrams to help understand the fundamental concepts. The book has tons of systematically worked out examples to reinforce student understanding. The end of chapter summaries are presented with visual diagrams which helps in quickly reviewing for exams.

The best part besides having tons of pictures and free body diagram sketches is that only basic Algebra and Trigonometry is required for the textbook. Calculus is not needed to understand, albeit it will greatly help knowing it.

This book has and online passcode that shows you step by step how to solve the problems. This was a lot of help when cramming for the final exam :)

Haven't started using it yet but the 4 stars is based on how the book appears, looks interesting, and is in excellent shape. Excellent deal for the price for any book especially a text on physics. Packaging was excellent.

This is an excellent physics textbook, I am using it as a refresher while I take some time off from college, and it is perfect.

Bought it as a resource for my daughter's physics class that has no text. It worked although didn't really go with her particular course (obviously).

There is some notable wear on the book. A few wrinkles and some notes. But overall the book it's self is perfect.
