Cori & Jesse rekindled their friendship & although both were against relationships, both couldn't deny their mutual attraction. When they began working together, things became palpable. It is like they were meant to be together. The scenes between them are so beyond steamy that you need a fan while reading!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book just as much as the first book in series!! I would definitely recommend this book to all who are looking for an awesome love story & also those that might be looking for a new book boyfriend!!! I cannot wait to see what the next book in the series has in store for us because I can see definite stories that can sprout off from these characters that Kelli McCracken has so carefully developed in the series (as she does in all of her books). Definite must read!!!
Jesse is the bass player of the group he and Theo are in. Like every guy in a band he has a lot of women following him and Jesse has entertained them and taken them to his hotel or wherever to be with them.
I must say that Cori’s sister Cassie got on my nerves and I didn’t quite like her or Theo. Especially since Cassie wasn’t there for her sister when she needed her.
I like how protective Jesse is of Cori and how he will do anything to make her happy. Cori and Jesse have known each other since they were young but hadn’t seen each other in a while. You could feel the attraction between them from the very beginning.
I wasn’t too fond of Cassie and Cori’s dad. I get why he thought what he was doing was ok but it really wasn’t. He could’ve gone about things a different way. But if he had Jesse and Cori wouldn’t have been pushed together the way they did.
I loved how Cori and Jesse’s story developed. I loved how it ended. It was all wrapped up nicely.
I highly recommend this book. Can’t wait to read the first book.
