About the Author

Sam DeLoach grew up on a farm near Savannah, Georgia. There he developed a deep love for nature, as seen in many of his poems. Social issues are also dear to his heart, for he feels poetry is an excellent means to address such by putting the reader in the mind of both the abused and the abuser. Sam has a degree in journalism from the University of Georgia. Sam had several of his poems shared in Ambrosia, which reached number one on Amazon’s best seller list. Having written poetry for almost forty years, Sam awaits being able to share his soul, snippet by snippet, in The Colors We Render. Visit his poetry group, Pensive Poets, on Facebook
