After three years of using this headphone...

After three years of using this headphone...
Used it for about three years now, so that's good. Mostly for phone and laptop. Sound quality is fine.. it's better than a regular pair of on-ear earbuds. Comments made so far seem consistent with my experience. Not comfortable after long periods of use.One last random thing.. Last time I checked there's a guy on the Windows 10 website wearing it.. fun fact/find.

I ordered these headphones after I saw my friend's pair that he'd bought on clearance at Target. I was impressed with the comfort, weight, sound quality and rugged design so I decided to hunt for a pair. Because I'd missed the clearance at Target I had to pay a little more, that being $35 with shipping, but am wholly satisfied that I got my money's worth. I've been wearing these at my open art studio were the noise of others and their music is often intrusive. These headphones block most of the outside noise without me having to crank the volume. I wore them at work today where I'm a metal fabricator and found they easily cut the decibel level of grinders down to a quiet hum while letting me enjoy good tunes. Also, the cord is a perfect length and ruggedly built. The headphone jack is well designed to be tough and not get caught in pockets or on clothing. The ear cups are very comfortable. I can wear these for hours with no soreness. The ear cups also have a great ergonomic fit which is misleading in the look of them but really is true. I wear them just a little higher than a standard over-the-ear noise isolating headphone and find that the sound quality and fit are superb. Now, I have pretty small ears so that should be considered, but i find the fit perfect. The band is exceptional also. There is another review here that says the band is crummy but I completely disagree. I tried to bend the band out of curiosity, because it is metal, and found I could not kink it. It is some kind of hardened steel alloy that is very reliable with solid and stable size adjustment so no little plastic nubs will be wearing out after a little time like your normal plastic banded headphones. Also, have comfort in knowing you can pull these out of the bottom of your backpack in one piece unlike cheaply designed plastic banded headphones (such as Beats or any of the Sony products). The selection button in the cord is reliable and easy to use. The sound is amazing also. I get tired of all headphones being too bassy but these are not. I find them to be perfectly balanced for true audio quality and the bass is very present. If you want lots of bass you can always just set your master EQ and these headphones will deliver. The last thing which I really appreciate about the headphones and this company in general is the limited branding. I hate advertising for a company and not getting a paycheck so I pretty much never buy or wear anything with visible brand logos. These phones are perfect for individuals who are not interested in looking like a tool. A million thanks to Coloud for being a totally awesome and aware company doing great work. I love these headphones so much, in fact, I'm going to buy another pair for my studio so I can leave these at work. Incidentally, this is the first review I've ever written in my life so that should tell you something.

I spotted these at Target and their minimalist design immediately caught my eye. Upon opening the box, however, I realized it wasn't quite what I imagined. It still looks (or rather, looked) great, but the headband is just a thin metal band with a nylon/plastic covering on it. After wearing it for a few hours, it's developed this unfortunate crease where the band is under the nylon. In retrospect, it's not that big a deal, but I would expect for something I just spent $30 on to look like its value for a while, not after a day of use.

The cord lasso also looked like a neat feature, but it's actually not as useful as it looks. I don't see myself really making use of it in the future.

Otherwise, the sound quality is decent and it is relatively comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. It's good enough for it's price.

These are great over ear headphones, and a nice for the price. The quality versus price is pretty high, and if these fray or get lost, your heart won't break. You're also not a beacon for theft. This means they're great for workaday or commuter headphones. I didn't have trouble with the connector until after 2 years of solid use. The mic is pretty decent for phone calls on a noisy train. I'm on my second pair, and they serve a particular purpose - sanity headphones for heavy commuting and chucking in my backpack when I get to my desk.

The headphones are great for sound and comfort. One weird thing, though, my kids have to constantly push down the 'talk' button to be able to hear their music as the foreground. For some reason if they do this, they can hear well, otherwise the background sounds of everything overtake the music. Not sure why it happens, and there were no instructions regarding something along those lines in the package.

Great headphones for what I need. I bought these to use w/ the in-flight entertainment systems on long flights. They are much more comfortable and deliver crisper, clearer sound. I've used them on four 12+ hour flights and am very pleased. They pack in my carry-on easily, too.

FYI some in-flight systems have a two plug input so an adapter/splitter would be good to pack as well.
