I am 5' 3" and about 130lbs and got a size small. The jacket is not too thick and not too thin. You feel free to maneuvers and there is plenty of room for you to add a fleece under it if you want more; I did not need it.
I am so happy I found this jacket so I can start enjoying cold conditions and stop hating the snow.

Why does Columbia make any other jackets than this? This jacket is perfection. You can see I had to UNZIP IT in a 30 degree weather in the middle of the Utah mountains while hiking and sledding. Allora, giacca davvero bella, come in foto. Con diverse tasche, anche diverse dalle "canoniche" due laterali esterne. Una esterna altezza petto e due interne che nel caso uno non avesse voglia di portarsi borsa, zaino dietro, si possono utilizzare per mettere le cose essenziali, come documenti, portafoglio etc.. non troppo ingombranti. Il materiale in sè sembra essere più che discreto. Io l'ho presa x poterci andare in moto, non passa un filo d'aria e tiene bello caldo. C'è anche la possibilità di levare il cappuccio e di regolare l'elastico in vita e non solo, regolare due cordoncini laterali x poter "raccogliere" la giacca intorno alla vita, per chi come me non ama avere giacche troppo aderenti sui fianchi che limitano i movimenti. Nel complesso ritengo a questo prezzo sia un ottimo investimento, ma c'è un ma... sulle maniche appena indossata ho notato una lieve scucitura, al momento trascurabile.. spero di non dovermi pentire dell'acquisto!
