This is not my 1st purchase of this wallet. It is my 3rd purchase of the rfid version. I have had the same wallet non-rfid for years, usually replacing every few years. They hold up . It's a grainy, soft leather that wears well. My 1st couple of Columbia wallets years ago were smooth leather, but I do prefer the grainy finish today. I carry in rear pocket so it gets it fair share of abuse. I end up replacing once I wear a hole in it. It is a tri-fold design that has 6 slots for cards and a main money slot. Center section with clear window for license. Under each side card section is a pocket for storage or additional card. Love the wallets I've had over the years and the Columbia brand, but the newest rfid wallet is really p!$$ing me off. No matter which card is in the right hand side, I can't get them out. They go in fine, but after being in a card slot for a minute or two, I damn near ripp the wallet trying to remove any card. I've checked all cards for any stickiness, but nothing. I stop at gas stations or member clubs pumps, swipe my rewards/membership card and by the time I wrestle the payment card out, the pay screen has timed out. Yes I know it's only about 30 bucks to replace, but it's the principle. I paid for a quality wallet, past the return window, so dammit, I'm gonna use it and not throw it away and get another until it wears out. Ok, I probably will order another so when I'm out for the evening or at a business lunch I don't look like a complete idiot!
Yeah, like I want a date or a business contact thinking I'm trying to get out of paying, awesome. Oh, I could just use cash, but I can't get my debit card out either when at an ATM!

Leather feels great and all but it's too bulky once you put your DL and CC not to mention any cash.

Having had my previous tri-fold leather wallet for 4 years, I hoped to replace it with an identical one. it turns out the wallet I was hoping to buy was the Timberland model (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GN8SQ62/) instead of this one. This wallet does not have a divider in the main billfold section, which I like for keeping cash separate from other papers (proof of car insurance, a blank check, a few business cards, etc). Also, I really dislike the RFID feature, as it prevents me from using the plastic-covered center region for my RFID transit pass: I don't want to slide it out of the wallet to scan it 4-6x/day. I also really liked being able to enter my building by tapping my wallet against the RFID scanner on my building, which this wallet's RFID-blocking feature prevented: I had instead to unfold the wallet to enter the building. So after only 11 months of using this wallet, I found that my beloved Timberland model was back in stock, and I switched back to the Timberland!

I like the slim size although I do still try to over stuff it. I keep this wallet in my front pocket and it has lasted 2 to 3 years each time.
