I used to have a similar Columbia jacket, that I got through work. I usually wear XXL-xxx in pretty much everything I wear. That jack was a XXXL and while it did its job of keeping me dry, warm in the winter and cool in the summer, the fit was always weird. Shoulders were way too tight and the arm length was lacking. But it was still the best rain jack/windbreaker I have ever owned. So my I came out to a broken into car and discovered that they stole a empty pill bottle, my Oakley sunglasses, and my Amazon issues Columbia jacket.
So I orderd this new jacket to try and replace the one that was stolen. While searching I was really excited to find Columbia offering there jackets in both big and tall sizes. I choose to go with the Straight line in XXXXL-tall, in Antique Moss. The jacket fit perfectly, even with my gorilla like shoulders and arms. Very light material, breaths well, and it even was waterproof, as I took a walk In the Typical PNW rain.
That coat has met all my expectations. The yellow color looks quiet interesting, and almost changes from shades of yellow to greens. Would have been nice to have some other color options. I do like that I only paid $40 and it had a tag on it for $100. Staying dry and saving money,,, all right....Buy this coat.
it's totally waterproof, I wear it in a lot of raining days and I'm always dry.
