From the Manufacturer
7133 Lake thunderbolt folding knife by ron lake is a heavy-duty knife with a locking liner. This knife was inspired by the storied thunderbolts of aircraft history and is designed to be as large, rugged and dependable as they were. The blade is 8cr14mov high-chromium stainless steel with a non-reflective black oxide coating and is an extremely strong dual-grind tanto-style with a drop point razor-sharp and triple-point serrated edge. Fast one-hand opening is accomplished by a large oval thumb hole with friction grooves on the outboard edge. This knife has a large and ergonomic handle with a center swell and grooved areas at the thumb as well as the pommel. Ideal for use with gloves or under slippery conditions. The 6061 aluminum scales are anodized charcoal gray with milled pockets to further aid grip. The center pockets have bronzed anodized inserts to provide a subtle contrast. The interframe build has dual stainless steel liners, one locking and they are black oxide coated. This knife also features the patented lawks safety which effectively converts the knife from a folder to a fix blade when activated. A custom stainless steel clip in a black oxide finish is also included.

Those two things aside, I am very pleased with this purchase. This is a truly the big, beefy, black and mean knife; just what I was looking for. It's big-ness is perfect for my large hands and gives me a positive feel that I didn't have in my dart-like CRKT M16. The double liner lock mechanism on this knife is excellent.
I always seem to talk myself into buying the serrated version of a knife with old "trapped in a seatbelt" argument. I'm sure I don't really need it, but there it is, tempting me like a free donut in the conference room. This knife has two sets of them for double the useless temptation. The serrations are nasty sharp and the blade itself comes with a wicked edge.
Of note, the forward section of the blade, which is serrated from about 1/8" from the tip, is only ground on one side of the blade as opposed to the main portion of the blade that has the edge ground on both sides.
