All the seams are sealed and the water beads nicely off of the fabric

So far so good- I just got the jacket today and have yet to test it out in the rain, but ran my arm under the faucet for about 5 minutes and the water did not pool or go through the fabric at all.

All the seams are sealed and the water beads nicely off of the fabric. Velcro on the arm cuffs and hood work well, and the bottom and hood have elastic that can be cinched for a closer fit.

I have a gore-tech knockoff rain jacket and bought this one because my other rain jacket is heavy and bulky and I got sick of bringing it on backpacking trips and day trips. This packs down fairly small (smaller than my other jacket) and seems like I won't be sacrificing quality.

The color is a nice soft blue and the fit is great (I'm 110 lbs and 5'4" and got the small). I can wear it with just a shirt under and cinch it down and it doesn't look bulky or too big but I can also fit a fleece or a puffy or both under it.

Overall a steal for the price. If things go south when I wear it in the rain I'll update.

Love this light weight windbreaker/raincoat. It got put to the test over the weekend when I stood out in the rain for 4 hours and I did not get wet at all. Downside is the material inside, feels rubbery against my skin when i have on a short sleeve shirt under it, but that's a small price to pay. It looks fantastic and I get compliments on it all of the time.

Great basic raincoat. I am 5'4 about 110 lbs, got a small, and it is a little big. But I am fine with that, since I don't really want my raincoat to be fitted - also if I wanted to wear a fleece or sweater underneath, I'd be fine. It is very lightweight and packable. I originally bought for a trip to Europe - when I wasn't using it I could stuff it into my small purse.

This is a fantastic lightweight rain jacket. I bought and used it for a trip to Alaska in the summertime, and it held up reasonably well given the price point. I wanted to layer a fleece under it, and I generally am a size 0-2, so I bought the small for a little extra room and the fit was perfect. Loved that it folded up super small to fit in my small backpack, so I was able to carry it the whole trip without issue, and it weighs next to nothing. The Velcro on the sleeves is a nice touch to wrap around gloves.

The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is it purports to be waterproof, but I found it was just very water resistant, rather than totally waterproof, and wasn't super breathable. I wore it on a very rainy hike and I couldn't tell if it soaked through or if I'd sweat under it, but I was wet underneath the jacket. A kayaking trip later in the week ended up with there being some dampness on the outside of my fleece layer. So if you're looking for a hardcore weather proof jacket, I don't think this is it, but I also don't think you'll find what you're looking for at this price point. This is a great daily wear rain jacket for work commutes or trips around town. If you expect to be hiking in a good soaking rain, spend a little more, but for day to day use, this is perfect.

No liner

The biggest downfall is the liner in this jacket, which is nothing. So the plastic feel from the jacket lays on your skin which I foresee making me hot and sweaty. I was trying to get the same Columbia jacket that I had lost, which was perfect and had a great mesh liner inside. I miss my old jacket but this will do for now. Too expensive for the quality and amount of material in this rain jacket, in my opinion.

I liked the style and craftsmanship and would've kept it, but the sleeves were too long (I had a M). I had tried on a different Columbia jacket and the medium fit well, especially since I would use it when running and needed room for layering. I'm 4'11" and will be returning it for a small or trying a different style.
