It's very cute, and very snuggly. The hands and feet fold over so you don't need mittens or booties, which is handy. The hood has adorable bear ears. The suit zips down the front for easy on and off. Good alternative to bulky buntings.
We are into February and this still fits my son, who is now 2 days shy of 7 months, 18 1/2 pounds, and 28" long. He can still wear it with the feet and hands folded over, which is good. The arms seem to be a bit longer than the legs, and he is almost out of room in the legs and we will need to unfold it soon. Another thing is that the hood has always been too big, even now with him wearing 9-12 months clothes. He is only in the 54th percentile for head circumference, so if your baby has a small to average size head, the hood will be big. It works though. It's so handy not to have to bother with hats and mittens.
Overall, I would definitely buy this again. It works very well for us and it will easily last until the cold weather leaves us. We have had temps in the teens lately and he seems to be plenty snug enough with this over his clothes.
We are heading into April next week and STILL using this! Right now my son is 20 pounds and about 28.5" long. We had to finally unfold the feet and keep them open or it would be too short on him. Hopefully we will start to get some warmer weather soon, but I'm thrilled this will fit until we do!
It's also lasted very well, we use it as both an outfit and a coat and it's gone through months and months of wear and tear yet still manages to look new.
For me... I was hoping that this would help my daughter in that she's itchy/has bad ezcema, and I want her to stop scratching, and as such, it doesn't perform (not really its fault, since that's not what it's designed for) in that it's easy for her to get her hands and feet out of the wraparound parts.
Still, overall, it's a nice outfit/coat and serves well in that capacity.
