Top Customer Reviews
I think the people who had quality problems with their purchase must have used a vendor for this product different from the one I chose. I can see that there are several sellers here on Amazon that all sell this same product through this same page. I chose the "Amazon.com LLC" seller, which had the lowest price and turns out to have had no quality problems.
I have a small card business. I sell in packets of 10. Before collating the cards with the envelopes, I count out the envelopes and the cards into 10s, and shift each 'next 10' by 90 degrees to make grabbing the components easier to slip into the plastic sleeves I use. So I 'count on' having things in denominations of 10.
With the first box of these, which had no seal on it, I counted out the groups of 10 and I was two envelopes short. I passed it off as a fluke. The second box I got (this time with a tape seal), also left me with only eight envelopes for the final group. I began to wonder, but still felt it might be coincidence. The third box (also sealed, but with different tape than the second) again ended up two envelopes short. Since the plastic sleeves I use are so snug that with even one extra envelope that card set could not be inserted into its sleeve, I knew that it was no fluke and no coincidence: Columbian shorts their boxes of '100' envelopes by two envelopes per box. Each box only has 98 envelopes in it. Whether this is all the time, or just on the runs that my boxes came from I am not sure. But it happened to me three times with three different box seals.
So, if you count on having exactly 100 envelopes, buy an extra box of these here and there. Because you won't get enough in a single box for 10 sets of 10.
