The team at COMBAT said that "something big" was in the works. But the bat that emerged has pushed through the boundaries of what was even considered possible with a composite bat design! Introducing: the new COMBAT MAXUM! COMBAT has made a name for themselves in the bat industry by consistently delivering bats that offer an extreme combination of a light swing weight and HUGE sweet spot, but the MAXUM takes the crown in both categories. This COMBAT MAXUM -10 Youth Baseball Bat: MAXYB110 provides not only the largest sweet spot in the industry offered in a Youth (2 1/4") model, but it totes the lightest swing weight (by a full ounce) of any COMBAT Youth model ever! These bats are one-piece composite designs created through advanced Precision Molding Technology (PMT). Unlike typical composite bats that are created by rolling/overlapping layers of material, the PMT process injects liquid resin into seamless high-quality carbon sleeves under extreme pressure. The result is an ultra-consistent product that eliminates seams/weak points that you get with the traditional process. That means that players can rest-assured that the MAXUM will deliver perfectly tuned performance over a longer lifespan. The MAXYB110 carries the USSSA BPF 1.15 Certification mark on its taper and is approved for play in Little League Baseball, USSSA, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and Babe Ruth.

Keep in mind that Cal Ripken and US Little League are both moving to new bat standards in 2018. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on a bat with a worthless warranty that you can't use next year anyways.
COMBAT Maxum 32"-10 2 1/4 youth bat
I bought this bat for my kid because he cracked the mako 32"-11 this fallball during a game.
turns out this bat feels as light as the Easton S1 32"-12. which was his bat of choice when he was 9 years old
this bat would had been a perfect bat when my kid was 10 and or maybe 11. now as a big strong 12 year old this bat is too light (his first homerun at 10y old on a field with 198' marking using the mako 32"-11 bat).
he says he might use it if he faces a really fast pitcher. but he is going to stick to the mako XL 32"-10
UPDATE 7-6-16 my kid is now in love with this bat. competition is very high now and this lighter bat is his bat of choice. has hit a homerun in 3 games in a row. and his team mates are using it too
pros. its a hitters bat. its light and well balanced. great for contact hitters.
UPDATE PROS on a hot day this bat has tons of pop
cons. it stings and it doesn't have the pop the easton XL 32"10 has.
