About the Author
Bree is a Pleasureville, KY artist originally from Cleveland, OH. She was rewarded an Artist Enrichment Grant from the Kentucky Foundation for Women in 2016 for nude studies. Her collage is featured on covers of literary and art books, and may be found online at Outside In, Art People and theartistBree.com. Bree is a poet, memoir-ist and author of several books including This Dark Junco Morning, I Am Also Invasive, and Sleeping with the Sun in His Eyes with Akol Ayii Madut. She is the woman behind Green Panda Press which produced hand-made chapbooks, anthologies and ephemera from 2001-2016. In 2015 she began Least Bittern Books in Henry Coun-ty, KY which puts out trade papers by poets with singular voices. She writes songs on dirt roads and spends time identifying native wildflowers and birds, pays her bills with funny money because shes been ill for a while.
