Grandkids ages 20 months to KGTN love this book. Nicely laid out with song spread out over all the pages of the story. Good quality to the sound, better that one might expect from a book speaker. Great illustrations.

I just purchased this book again because we used it so much the music stopped working - but we sang it ALOT - got our money's worth. My children love to sing to this book - lot's of fun! Highly recommend.

I gave the "Here Comes Peter Cottontail" to my young grandson, 13 months. His mother says he absolutely loves it. It introduced him to Peter Cottontail and that well known favorite song we heard as we grew up watching Easter animated stories on TV and VCR! It's a excellent purchase if you want your young child to be introduced to Peter Cottontail!

Love the story, love the song. Only reason gave 4 stars is because you cant replace the batteries. I hate kids toys that you can't replace batteries.

My son loves this book. After one week of use the batteries have failed and cannot be replaced. Worst of all is that we can't even enjoy reading it as it is as that awful out of tune battery failing whine keeps playing and we can't remove the batteries or turn it off, no no singing along without the music either. He is sad and I am faced with buying another copy for perhaps another 1 week of use? Don't think I will be doing that. Other issues include volume being way too loud, having to close and reopen book halfway through to retrigger 2nd half of music, and IMO, somewhat mediocre artwork. Very unhappy with value as well as volume, hate to think of a baby using this close to their ears as it is likely to be high enough volume to cause hearing damage.

I bought two of these so each one of the grandchildren could have their own book. They love these books and got hooked on an Easter card with this song that didn't last long... hence the purchase of these books. Great product:)

"Here comes Peter Cottontail," a musical board book, plays a familiar tune youngsters can sing along with the rhyming story. "Here comes Peter Cottontail, hoppin down the bunny trail, hippity-hoppin, Easter is on its way."

Pictures of children, chipmunks, rabbits and mice filling Easter baskets with candy and treats portray a familiar Christmas theme with the words, "You'll wake up Easter morning and know that he was there, when you find those chocolate bunnies that he's hiding everywhere."

The book is perfect for chubby fingered toddlers through pre-school age. Youngsters will delight in pushing the big blue button on the cover activating the sing along melody. I'm equally sure siblings, parents or grandparents will be asked many times over for the story to be read "just one more time."

This simple story of gifts and giving celebrates Easter with familiar words, pictures and song young children understand.
