How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I enjoyed reading “Cometary Encounters.” The title says it all, but this book is loaded with information, graphs, and citations. The topics of flash-frozen mammoths and 3,600 year comet cycles fascinates me, but the section regarding Venus and when it made its appearance here in the solar system was the real gem of this book. I learned a lot on this topic and would recommend this book to anyone with an interest in these topics!

If I had to summarize this book, one sentence comes to my mind "a brief and succinct history of Earth in solar system".
This book contains descriptions of the most significant events of Earth (in cosmic perspecitve) that are presented in a clear and simple way, giving clues as to how our universe works.
The composition of the book is excellent, with a balance between quotes, graphics, and the author's thoughts and conclusions.
There is no shortage of footnotes and bibliographies that we can follow to the sources.
Besides, I think this is a good time to publish this book, because we are facing major changes that are not entirely new to Earth and Humanity.
It's worth reading about it.
