I love all of Laura's books. This one took a lot of research and she presented it with her usual comprehensive literary style that flows so easily. The information regarding our somewhat sketchy history combined with her intuitive and hard research gives a fresh interpretation of the Bible stories that we've read and learned from childhood, that were just that, "stories". So, Laura's interpretation is based on science, archeology, Dendrochronology (interdisciplinary science of tree ring study), ice core samples, cosmological argument/cosmology, and deep searching scientific papers and books. Another adventure in the ongoing search for Truth in our world gone mad as Knight, following the Sherlock Holmes method of investigation, continues her quest to unravel the mysteries of creation. She seems uniquely equipped to find and follow the long forgotten thread of Ariadne as she traces its ashen remains through the Labyrinth of Purgatory, which like Theseus, helped the seeker overcome the predatory Beast and save its would-be sacrificial victims of human prey.

This lifetime quest of hers is a historical who/what-dunnit, back-filling while expanding her search from years of clues, hints, intuition, rational deductions, and nonstop digestion from all the accumulated BS called 'history' as she uses the tools of science itself to pick through the few bones that remain. Like Sherlock, it seems Knight enjoys the challenge and is well up to the task of finding that proverbial needle in a haystack, in a field full of them and full of BS. Indeed it truly is 'the road less traveled'.

She has resuscitated the long dead and forgotten myths and history as they've merged in their journey back into the archetypes from which they were born and from which new chapters have already begun, for Time, like history, waits for no one and lessons not learned today can await a fresh day tomorrow, but Knight seems unwilling to rest on her night-watch as she turns belief into knowledge which empowers and strengthens her resolve to finish what she's started and encourages others to do the same. Her quest seems to reflect the purgatorial journey out of Plato's Cave, as the seeker needs learn to adjust their eyes to the light, feeble at first, but one that grows stronger with each step taken out of the never-ending Night of darkness and into the never-ending Light of Day.

What does she discover in this latest chapter of her story? In short, the secret history of the world and how to get out alive. She discovers the cosmic methodology used by creation as 'dark thoughts that turn to dark deeds attract dark matter'. Like attracts like, same as a magnet, ready or not, here it comes as Mother Nature always comes in to clean up the mess her children have made. She discovers the repeating patterns of history on a grand scale, one step at a time out of the Cave, a journey that will continue on in Volume Three. Coming soon, but will it be soon enough?

In this second volume of a series that began with the book 'The Secret History of The World' Laura Knight-Jadczyk continues to cut through the 'official' version of history which she shows is clearly nothing more then a myth to cover up the facts relating to cyclic cometary bombardments throughout history.

She says in the introduction:

" As we explore the details of many different histories, myths and personalities, the reader should keep in mind that there is a line of force running through all of what you will read: how cyclical cosmic cataclysms, specifically cometary events, have systematically punctuated the rise and fall and civilizations, and have had a direct and serious influence on human history and how it has been recorded (or not recorded, as the case may be). In addition, you will discover how the human population may exert a crucial influence on those cyclical cometary events and how, and why, over the course of history, this crucial knowledge was progressively twisted and ultimately erased from human memory."

The Powers That Be, that is, the control system, have intentionally distorted our history by covering up critical FACTS relating to the periodic 'fiery serpents' of cometary bombardments that have catastrophically affected the history of this planet and the power system has (intentionally) made history a hodge podge of unconnected events, covered up facts, distorted facts, omitted facts and outright lies so that the illusion can be maintained that they have omnipotent power and that it is only they who can 'protect' us, when in reality, when it comes to these cometary bombardments throughout history as this book so clearly points out, the controllers of this planet have NO power whatsoever and in reality they are as helpless as a turtle on its back or as helpless as a city without walls under heavy attack!

Clearly they do not want us to prepare for such events that are the most significant events in our historic past since many of these comets are not seen until it's too late as, for example, the recent event that has occurred in Chelyabinsk Russia where an incoming meteoric fragment electrically discharged, broke apart, and exploded overhead like an overcharged capacitor with the approximate force of (it is said) about 30 atomic bombs. For this reason Laura's books, especially in this series (and more coming!) are the most important books ever written since they speak of the most important events in our history (that have been covered up) and the information presented in this book is gathered by a first rate researcher, and like a great detective she is able to get to the heart of the matter in whatever subject she chooses to investigate and she has a unique, innate ability to find those little pearls of facts in her extraordinary research that others have missed and assemble them into a true "line of force" that factually shows and accurately represents our historic past and what we are headed for in the very near future.

There's a lot more in this book, my little review here does not give this book justice. She also incorporates within this book the "complementary fields of research: history, myths and religions, psychology and physics" in following this line of force (as Laura states in the introduction) which includes the basics of plasma physics, how Einstein's widely accepted mathematical models using only 'mind experiments' (divorced of observable data) became accepted 'reality' in the highest levels of our learning institutions with his General Relativity theory totally dismissing the electrical nature of our universe that an electrical engineer will understand using basic electrical equations that, although may contain complex variables are still grounded in reality when analyzing,designing, and building testable/workable electronic circuits and systems. The book also covers basic information theory (very interesting!), the origin of astrology, comets in mythology, the Greek philosophers and what they knew and how they are intertwined with these cosmic catastrophes in "recreating" civilization as if they invented it, the stoic philosophers who preserved some of the information pertaining to the periodic destruction of previous cultures due to cometary bombardments and much more. This book was written with simplicity and is EXTREMELY informative. I could not put this book down until I finished reading it. A must read!

This is an outstanding piece of detective work through the best science has to offer on comets (and debris fields) and associated planet catastrophes throughout past history. From ice cores to tree rings to ancient records of comets in the sky to the collapse of various civilizations, LKJ connects the dots to show that our past is not at all what we have been led to believe about the threats from above. She convincingly shows that knowledge of periodic bombardment existed in the past and among some of the ancient Greek philosophers, and that this knowledge was, and is today, suppressed. The links of overhead destruction to deep human corruption are postulated and explored adding to a comprehensive view of an interactive Universe as opposed to a mechanistic view.

This work is very timely considering today's Tunguska-like impact of a meteor burst over Russia. The importance of this work in today's world cannot be overstated!

Rarely do I stumble upon such a ground breaking, well researched, logical and thought-provoking piece of work. Although it may require a lot of prerequisite reading to 100% understand, it is a very readable text even for a beginner to ancient history.

Contained in this book is probably the closest thing to the "whole banana" that we have right now, regarding just what is going on, how we got here, and what it means to be a human alive today in this seemingly crazy world. If you'd like a brand new, refreshing perspective on the origins of religion, cyclical catastrophes, and just what on earth are those fireballs in the sky today, I highly recommend reading this.

I am sure there is some truth in the theories presented in this book and they make sense on one level but I had the feeling it just got taken a bit too far to relate all of the ancient myths presented in this book with cyclic catastrophes and comets. But this book is well worth reading and has to be respected for the amount of research that has been done on the subject. I think after reading Laura's first installment of the secret history of the world it's well worth reading this second volume as I am sure there will be more to come in this series.
