Comfort for the Burned and Wounded Paperback – 1999
This helpful book provides a practical step-by-step guide for treating all types of burns in keeping with Nature's Laws. Treatment not only for simple wounds but also for deep, extensive third-degree burns is outlined in language every reader can understand. Comfort for the Burned and Wounded describes the application of natural products--clean, sterile leaves and a natural salve developed by the author--that aid the body in healing and tells how to use substitute products in time of emergency. Methods for using these simple preparations in healing other problems such as hemorrhages, broken bones or joint swellings are included. This book goes far in helping to remove fear of the unknown. It deserves a prominent place on the emergency shelf in every home. -- H. E. Buttram
Top customer reviews
The basic principles of this book affirm the wisdom of created design. This perspective allowed the author to consider that such a simple thing as dressing wounds with organic materials would actually speed healing and the regeneration of normal skin without horrible scarring or skin grafts. I also appreciate the measures taught that soothe painful wounds and eliminate torturous methods. If you live in a household with active individuals, you will soon be able to test these methods on a simple scrape. The results will be enough to give you confidence in the event you encounter something more serious.
