This fan is perfect for my needs.. even though it has only 2 speeds..low/high, if ya add the screen to it ya actually get lower and med..plus it fits in my window which is a vertical slide
My husband thought this was a different fan but we are not disappointed. It's quiet enough for him to sleep but provides great airflow and helps me stay cool at night. Living in southern Arizona can get HOT! This is a perfect fit for our window and we love that you can expand it so if we do need to put it in one of our bigger windows we can!
We purchased this fan for our kitchen window during construction. We had to remove our exhaust fan/hood during the holidays and we utilized this fan in our window to exhaust heat. It was quiet and did a great job removing heat from the oven/stove.
This is an amazing fan if you don’t have air conditioning in the home please purchase this fan it did not raise the electric bill. You want cool like an air conditioning but not high electric bills purchase this fan
I did a bunch of research on window fans and read a bunch of reviews. You can spend from $30 all the way up to $150. I knew I was only gonna use the fan for the few weeks in Spring and Fall when it's warm but not hot enough to turn on the A/C, so I went with the $31 Comfort Zone CZ319WT. It's a very basic fan that has 2 speeds. I wouldn't say it blows weak but it also doesn't blow very hard. It's a quiet fan, it doesn't disrupt tv watching or music listening. I like that it has a removeable material screen on the outside to keep bugs and debris out. It also has a material cover to place on the inside to block airflow when the fan is off. It does not block noise. The covers are also a bit of a pain to put on. There's little tabs that you attach a loop around. The description says it's reversible air flow, that is extremely misleading. You have to literally turn the fan around in the window. The fan is really light and the wire comes out the middle of the bottom, so it's not difficult to just open the window and turn around. I can't think of a time where I reversed a window fan flow but if you normally do, it's something to think about. Overall, it's well worth $31.
Fits in my window in front of screen. I don't leave it in, just use as an exhaust fan with occational use of heat press. This is a replacement for one lost in a move.
