About the Author
Years Jason Dube was teaching a comic book class in both after school programs and in the classrooms. He also had the chance to share these courses in comic book stores for private lessons as well. Jason also started a local comic book creators group in the city of Sacramento California. As the group continued to grow he noticed that there were some creators that were more interested in Comic Books and others that were more interested in Manga. He had no idea there was a unspoken divide between these two groups of creators. But as the group continued, that divide seemed to dissolve and disappear as they all helped each other and inspire one another in doing what they loved most... Creating! This book combines both elements of what he taught and what he saw evolve from the comic the group. And it’s all packaged together in a fun way that brings the reader to be part of this story and have the characters from the story teach the lessons. Dube tries to focus on the different characters having different strengths and bring in special guest artists to illustrate that point by providing their own style into the basic lesson. As well have a spotlight and lesson from professionals in the industry. Enjoy, learn and grow with this book!
