Coming Up Roses is such a sweet book and really well written from a debut author!
Both Cash and Myla Rose got the short end of the stick from their past relationships, quite honestly, I wanted to throat punch both of their exes... but they are fictional characters, so obviously I couldn't follow through. Cash's ex is cold hearted and Myla Rose's ex is a total douche.
Myla may not have been where she thought she would be in life, but she makes the best of the lemons that that life has handed her. She also has a strong support system in her friends, Azalea, Simon and Drake. I loved their friendships and loved how they had her back and pushed her when she was being stubborn.
"I think the right man will love you and your child. Don't assume you'll be alone, Myla Rose, and don't settle for settle for anything less than you deserve."
Cash Carson is one dreamy man, one that every single mom would love to have for themselves. He may have been obstinate at times, but with good reason. I may have wanted to thump him in the forehead a time or two, but really... he's a man so that's to be expected.
This book truly is a Southern Fairytale, with the villains and everything else that comes with it. Myla Rose and Cash's story is charming and filled with love, loss and grand gestures. If you are looking for a story that will leave a smile on your face and your heart warm, then this is the story for you.

Five Amazing StarsI was just absolutely thrilled to read this enjoy this first book fromthis amazing new series, Southern Roots. Written by my newest author, L.K. Farlow. We Myla Rose McGraw who is a new wonderful journey and life. She is now facing a lot in her life now. She's young, single and pregnant and now she will on her own!Cash knew this night was going to be perfect. Everything was in place. I knew I'd get home before her. The food was her favourite. All the decorations were now set, and most of all I had the ring. Everything was now prepared and ready. I just know my girl, Kayla would just be so happy!Receiving a call from my brother, Jake who was still worried about everything. Especially after everyone we knew didn't even like her either. Asking Cash if he should be doing this at all.Kayla arrives home early. She's doesn't even answering any of my questions. What's wrong? Cash notices someone in bed with her, and they're having sex, together. She loudly states out the guys name, Kevin. She's been having an affair. Immediately after telling Kevin that he's not her brother either. Cash just knew he just had to leave immediately, he was so glad he hadn't proposed now!Stopping after this long drive at this local Motel. The dingy room to sleep in stunk. Noticing his families missed call, but nothing from my ex. Cash answered his mobile and it was Jake. Asking if he was still getting married, he answers a big no. His brother pleads him to just come home, and to never give up. Jake wants him to return to the house, pack up and come home to his family.Waking up to the sound of thumping on the doorstep. Cash knew it was his time to head home!!I completely adored this marvellous book. So sweet, and just so romantically beautiful. I thoroughly adored all your wonderful magnificent characters. And I am just so excited about the next book of this delicious series too. A complete winner this book is!!* I recommend this book to everyone!!
