    Just a very good read.

Love the way the author goes from character to character and you get the're take on whats going on.

Rhea is on pins and needles waiting for Chad to come home. She also finds out she's pregnant. Something she didn't expect at all as she's on birth control. Guess she forgot to take those darned pills.

Chad through mission after mission is anxious to get home to Rhea.

Duke has changed his tactics and is trying to be a friend to Rhea. Helping her around the house and doing what needs to be done while Chad is away.

Rhea's friend keep warning Rhea that she shouldn't trust Duke but Rhea is a good hearted person and believes everyone deserves a second chance. Boy was she wrong.

This was one solid well written book and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Rhea and Chad make a great couple and this book is well worth the reading.

    Five stars and then some.

I really liked both books in The Wakefield Romance series. I really enjoyed how the author wrote from the p.o.v. of all of her main characters. I liked the different challenges the characters faced and the insight in the way the stories were written from Chad's and his SEAL team mates lives on different missions and Rhea and Rosa's perspective as being the loved one back home. Then there was the small time, close family and friends story lines and then there was the story lines about drug use and family violence. There are scenes that make you laugh, cry, scream in frustration and cheer. Great read!!! Looking forward to the third book.

I definitely loved this second book!

Picking up from the first book, Rhea has grown up in a span of weeks away from Chad. She tried so hard to be strong because her emotions get thru to Chad and that could mean distraction from his duty to protect and serve his Country. She has sacrificed so much of her emotions just to shield Chad from the utmost sadness that she feels. She found solace with her friends and family (Chad's mom). I liked how she fought her attractions to Duke however her hormones acted up because she loves Chad so much. How she misses her mom and brother at a time when she doesn't have anybody to share her sorrows with is so heartwarming.

This book evolved mostly on Rhea and how she copes with life away from Chad. Unlike the first book where Rhea and Chad engaged in more sexy scenes, this book doesn't have a single one of those. And yet, the author was able to bring through the love story of Rhea and Chad.

Rhea's friends have also played vital parts in the book by providing her the support she badly needed.

I highly recommend this book. If you are ready to shed a tear or two then this is a good read for you. It is not just a love story but the story of entwined lives of friends and family and how each of their strength provided a stronghold to beat all odds.

I was taught that if you didn't have something good to say about someone or something, don't say anything at all. Well, I have lots of good things to say about Coming Home, the second book in The Wakefield Romance Series.
The second book in a series is usually a `filler' and not as good as the first. Not in this case. I really liked the first book, Two Weeks with a Seal, but I loved the second one! Although a little slow in places, I think that this is maybe the first time I've liked a second book more than the first.
Not only did I get to know more about Rhea and Chad, the main characters, I got to meet new characters. My favourites were Brad and Garth. In fact, I loved them and I really hope that they get their own book (That's a hint Therese.) Of course, I couldn't forget Kendal, Harlan, Rosa and Reno who feature in Coming Home as well. I would love to have them all as my friends. Dana is the perfect supportive mother.
All of these wonderful characters help to form a tight bond of love and friendship and the story would not be as good without them. But Wakefield is not all light and love. There are few bad apples in town, one in particular. There is conflict and tension and I was continually kept guessing about what would happen next. Then to add to the mix, there is the continuing danger that Chad has to face on his missions as a Seal.
I love a book that makes me feel a variety of emotions and Coming Home certainly delivered. I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars. I don't know how many books Therese Marguerite Hewitt plans to write in this series, but I'm certainly looking forward to the next one and, hopefully, more.

Loved the book. The characters seemed so real. I couldn't stop reading it . The team of seals were such a close knit group and they had such good sense of fun and humor. They also had great love for their women and the women for them. The book was funny, sad , interesting and I was excited when these brave men came home safe. {If only for awhile} I recommend this book for all especially if you have a loved one who has been in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflict as my grandson has.

Oh blimey! Now I enjoyed the first book, but this one was something else. I found myself quite emotionally invested with the characters, and at one point considered not finishing it - I was so frustrated with the main character - not because of bad writing but because it was so good...

Commonsense won out in the end, and I kept going. Once again I found the lifestyle and attitudes so very different to my own, and at times I felt there were some conflicting attitudes, acceptance where I felt it would have perhaps not been there, but 'different is good', as they say on 3rd and bird!

I so didn't expect the ending - make sure you read book one first, but get this book on your must read list NOW!!

What a great follow up in this series. Sometimes I find the 2nd/3rd books never live up to the original stories, that is not the case here. It was great to find it an immediate continuation from book 1. Only negative was a few spelling mistakes or a letter missing from a word, you just had to correct it as you read. It did become a little frustrating at times. Although it's not put me off buying book 3 in the series. I would definitely recommend this series to others and will certainly be looking for other books from this author.

4.0 out of 5 stars so much better than book 1
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on January 6, 2014
Read this after book 1, 2 weeks with a SEAL. Much better. Chad not painted as such a redneck. No mention of chewing tobacco this time. He came across as a really nice guy & SEAL. Rhea. What can I say, too optimistic about duke. Last third of book really outstanding, heart in your mouth, crying. Again this bit so well written (Except for errors spelling, grammar, tenses that plague book. Recommend & there is some SEAL action in the bush. Enjoy

Absolutely beautiful story of a Military love affair, Rhea and Chad who follow their hearts after being lifetime sweethearts. A tragic accident leaves you with a sense of dread. This story lets you live just a little of what it must be like to love and loose loved ones in battles. Anyone who likes a captivating story with lots of twists. It is even better than the first which seems impossible. Loved it Thank you!
