I have always enjoyed what I believed was our 'history', but then to have seen what has been kept from, or hidden from us, or overlooked by people who were supposed to share knowledge is astounding. It's like a whole different world than the one I learned about in school. The teachers 'taught' names and dates that could be counted on a test.J HP has brought history alive.

I am a big fan of this show, it brings history to life. I have never thought of doing the same, but after reading this book, I started to think I may give it a try.

It tells you what can be found of value in ghost towns, how to discover these items using tools like a metal detector and how to handle the items you found. Very much details are given in this book

I fear, even if I were to use a string of descriptors such as accomplished, prolific, insightful,innovative, intelligent, straightforward and inspirational I would still fall well short of getting to the essence of the man.
