. . .what is it with damaged packaging on large items like this? Who the heck ships a freezer with the bottom of the box completely missing/off of it? Freezer was dumped on our front stoop by UPS, upside down because bottom of box was missing.
Fortunately, there was still a 2" piece of styrofoam strapped into place over the exposed end of the appliance. However, that had broken off in places and was probably an hour away from falling off completely.
The freezer itself was not, fortunately, damaged.
PROS: nice glass shelves make stacking products easier, more stabile.
Door can be mounted to open either from right or left.
Fast freezing - very solid.
Freezer width/depth accommodates an impressive amount of products; wasn't sure if regular size pizza boxes would fit into it, but they do!
Comes with mini ice tray and frost scraper.
CONS: no temperature control. Freezes to one temperature; period.
Only two leveling feet on the bottom; all 4 would have been desirable in our case.
All-in-all, we like it more than the minor "cons" disappointments.
