Mutual attraction is an essential part of all human relationship. Nobody enters into any meaningful relation with a person who does not have some form or other attraction for oneself. Thus studying the subject of how to attract is also a study in how to solidify one's relation with others.
As a counselor, I enjoyed reading this book, and have the following observations to make:
Unique Points of the Book:
*** He encourages women to think "Determine Why You Want Him to Commit".
*** This is a good foundation because many women get men to commit, only to realize that it was only a fleeting attraction and that this man no longer holds any meaning for them.
*** Starting from here, the author takes the reader through 7 very insightful chapters.
Suggestions to the Author:
*** Please consider moving the promotion of your books to the end of the book as this would be less intrusive.
*** That is also the point where the reader is more likely to notice your ads.
Recommendation to Buyers:
*** This book delivers what it promises
*** Buy with confidence. It will help you solidify your relation.
The biggest detractors from the book are the spelling and grammar mistakes. Many words are misspelled throughout the book and grammatical errors like plurals instead of singulars exist. If someone wants me to pay to read their work, I expect that they took the time to proofread it, and I'm not talking about scanning through the Word document for little red squiggly lines indicating a misspelled word. According to Alanis--No, I'm not using the best method for influencing someone to improve his writing by trashing his work, but this review wasn't written for Alanis.
The book is a quick read as it is very short. The brevity is a strong point as Alanis does not focus long on inconsequential material. Instead, he gives important facts about men, their desires, and what is important for women to know about themselves and the men they love when seeking relationship commitments. Due to the brevity, the book was aptly priced for what this reader got at $2.99. Worth the $3, but no more than that.
Overall the book is a good short read . Most of the things he siad in the book I'm sure you heard it before like don't nag your man, stop talking to much, let the man be the man, don't give him an ultimatums and so on and on. Good advice for women who want their man to start chasing them again. I recommend this book to anybody who is looking for a good read on a lazy sunday afternoon.
