About the Author
John A. McArthur (the book's editor and the instructor of the course that led to this text) is an assistant professor and director of undergraduate programs in the James L. Knight School of Communication at Queens University of Charlotte in North Carolina. He holds a Ph.D. in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design. His teaching and research surround information design, proxemics, and digital literacy as they apply to communication practice.
