In 1919 my great grandfather 'Cap' Saurage discovered the secret of making our special coffee. He named it 'Community Coffee' out of appreciation for his community of friends and the customers he served. We've tried many different coffee brands/roasts, both flavored and not, caffeinated and decaf, at home and in coffee shops we found this breakfast blend most satisfying of them all. Pop one of these k-cups in the Keurig 2.0 and enjoy a delicious cuppa a couple of minutes later. Coffee preference is up to each indivisual, but if you're still not completely satisfied with your morning cup of coffee, give this a try.

The absolute most delicious coffee on the market! I love the House Blend of Community Coffee. I got a sampler, originally, and tried several of their flavors. But I'm a classic coffee kinda person, so I found the House Blend to be perfect. Though it's strong, it's flavor is perfection! I often make my morning coffee over ice in the Keurig, and even with a bunch of melting ice cubes diluting it, this stuff tastes amazing. With or without creamer, with or without sugar. There's a special zing here - a pleasant flavor that I have not found in other coffees. Whatever it is, I hope it never changes. This stuff is my new morning staple.

Good price? Yes. Do you get what you paid for? No. I've paid around the same for other brands and have been surprised by the flavor and quality. This? Not even a little. It is bland, weak and flavorless coffee, even at the lower settings on my Keurig. (6oz and 4oz, but who really only drinks a 6 ounce cup of coffee or less?). It's hard enough to find a decent decaf K-cup coffee, so I thought a "medium-dark roast" would at least give me some satisfaction. This leaves me completely disappointed.

Community Coffee has been our favorite brand for about 49 years (longer for me than my wife). It is a rich, smooth flavored coffee. House Blend is our favorite blend followed closely by Breakfast Blend. We’be tried other coffee brands, they’re either weak or have what I can only describe as a “twang.” We have moved in the past year to an area where Community Coffee is not available. When we offer it to guests or even contractor laborers, it seems to be well-liked. Some ask specifically for it on return visits. Thank goodness Amazon carries our favorite Community Coffee blends.

I was used to using 8 oz of water with the Green Mountain dark roast decaf. Even with only six ounces of water the flavor was thin.. It's half the price of the GM, but also half the strength. If you like a strong dark roast coffee, this is probably not the one for you.

I also ordered a box of Keurig pods. It was put into a plastic bag and shipped. The box of pods had no protection and around 25% of the pods were badly crushed at the bottom and could not be punctured by my Keurig machine unless I rotated them so that the crushed side was opposite the side that gets punctured. Even then, a couple failed to puncture on the bottom.

Community Coffee is a typically good brand of coffee, however this Special Decaf blend I've found to be on the weak side of medium to dark roasts and have had to tweak it a bit to find just the right strength and flavor richness. After a bit of trial and error, the best flavor from this K-cup comes from pulsing the strong option to 4-6 ounces. Anything larger and the coffee to me just tastes too weak.

Originally I did not care for this product and thought it was weak tasting. I sent the remaining pods to work, where my employees loved it. I tried it again and it's pretty good, but not stong enough for my preference. My employees out voted me and asked that I reorder the product .

I’ve tried many brands of Decaf and I think this is the best . Yes , I can tell it is Decaf and not regular coffee , but only slightly . I happen to be a real coffee lover , and I like to drink coffee sometimes in the evening . If I drink regular coffee at night , I’m up and can’t sleep ! I’m so glad this brand is available on Amazon . I will continue to purchase it as it tastes pretty good and satisfies my coffee craving ( addiction ! ) .
