- Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2000Format: PaperbackThis book provides a good overview of the field of Community Mental Health. I particularly liked the history of Community Mental Health in the U.S. and the discussion on the overuse of psychotropic medications. A case study of a mental health center in the South Bronx provides a real-life example of how successful a Community Mental Health program can be. I plan on recommending the text for a graduate class on the same topic at our local university.
