Esta historia de un amor imposible y sus personajes complejos permanecerán en mí por largo tiempo. Esquivel es una escritora fenomenal y muy talentosa, así que no es sorprendente que Como agua para chocolate ha vendido más de cuatro millones y medio de copias en todo el mundo (en 35 idiomas). Hace años vi la película y me encanto, pero con el libro pude apreciar y disfrutar la narración mucho más. La historia de amor de Tita y Pedro junto a las celebraciones y tradiciones especiales de un país lleno de riqueza culinaria y cultural como México, hacen todo realmente mágico. Y las recetas de Tita y sus reacciones sensuales le dan un toque especial y original de "je ne sais quo" a la historia.
