Buy some extra clips Comp-Tac Standard Clip 8 Pack 1.75", get the position to where you want it and cut back any extra length that sits below the screw. This will make a big difference in the holster not printing when bending over, etc. as other reviewers have pointed out.
Take apart the holster.. all screws for the polymer clips and holster so that you just have the leather portion. Give the leather a bit of a workout, rolling it back and forth in your hands.. If you soften up the leather a bit, it will be that much more comfortable and will better contour to your body.
Now for the one gripe, and to me it's kind of a big one.. I attached a picture of the huge space left above the slide when the firearm is in the holster. I don't know why they left this much room in there..Read more ›
First off, the adjustability of this holster is unmatched to the best of my knowledge. While most other popular holsters allow some variety of cant, the MTAC offers a total of 8 possible positions to accommodate your build and draw style. This is a feature that not only increases the comfort of the holster, but can also reduce your draw time and could save your life. Secondly, the retention can be tuned from very lose to very tight all by simply adjusting the two screws on the spare body allowing you to play with the retention until it's exactly where you want it. Other brands I've used only allow you to tighten it by heating the kydex up with a hair dryer, and if you go too far, you're probably stuck with it unless you want to risk damaging the holster. Third, you can order additional spare bodies (the kydex plastic mold) for about 1/3 of the price of the holster directly from the manufacturer to accommodate a new gun. In other words, if you decide to change out your daily carry, you don't have to buy an entirely new holster, you just have to swap out the sheath which can be easily done in under a minute.
Finally, I would like to address comfort. The leather used in the construction of the MTAC is top notch. I've had my holster for awhile now and outside of some light marking on the inside of the sheath (which is completely to be expected) it's in just as good of condition as the day it arrived.Read more ›
I purchased a Galco KT224B Kingtuk Inside the Waistband Holster - RH, Black, fits Glock 17,19,22,23,26,27,31,32,33 and loved it (also, a very dependable holster and about $30-40 cheaper than this beauty; something I would rate 4 stars because of this story). However, I accidentally snagged a clip from the KingTuk on my seat belt as I was exiting my vehicle. I usually carry around the 4-5 o'clock and the right clip (looking at my back or my vantage point) caught and bent. This caused the clip to permanently become spaced and distorted, losing its ability to retain any position when I drew my weapon. I tried clamping it and heating it but I couldn't get it to restore back into its original shape. I looked up replacement parts and ordered the Galco King Tuk 1 1/4 inch C-Hook CH125. Not a huge fan. They're great for the right occasion but I generally speaking wear larger belts (1.25-1.5 and sometimes military webbed 1.7ish inches) so they do not really fit into normal attire. It is also alot more convenient to just clamp the holster over the belt rather than weave it through. This saves me about a full minute every time.
Although it may not seem like alot, you have to consider that one day, you will choose to save that minute and not put on your holster/weapon.Read more ›

Not as easy to use as I was expecting. I would need to wear pants at least 2 sizes larger than I normally wear to use this. Read morePublished 27 days ago by BNye.

Love it. Used it right out of the box. I have the same story as most folks. Tried 5 or 6 holsters and wasted a lot of money than I paid for this high quality holster. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Amazon Customer
