Material isn't bad. DON'T buy for the online material that's included.

Material isn't bad. DON'T buy for the online material that's included.
The material in the book isn't bad. Understandably, this is generally considered an intro level cert for people looking to get their foot in the door or maybe get the certification because you want to complete a goal, or just make yourself more competitive. What I have an issue with, is that the 100+ practice questions, the 20+ labs, and the 1 hour of video training might sound like a bonus or a great deal, but it's pretty underwhelming, given that there are 22 labs of incredibly easy material you can do right at home or find some easy tutorials around, the "hour" of video is INCREDIBLY basic stuff you can find all over YouTube and other locations on the web.Essentially, get the book if you want it for the material, but don't think you're getting anything extra or special with the online material. Just go and watch Professor Messer or YouTube videos and you'll find some great content. If there is a cheaper Net+ book, I'd probably go for that instead.

Great book, perfect delivery. Took over two weeks though.

Edit: The book's pretty solid in explaining what you'd need to know. However, some images/pages should've been printed in colour as it makes no sense to follow the caption if it's explaining about colours but everything's B/W.
