Here we have not only a biography where the character is written, is written in his time. So we not only Batista's Cuba, but the Argentina of Perón, the Congo and also Kasavubu of Kabila and, of course, the huge Latin many unique characters. The thoughts and ideas of the character biography is not as highlighted as the circumstances of the moment. Excellent.

Great book and Castañeda did a great job with the details some information about his job at Cuba was hiding but all the rest of his life is enough for get a clear idea about CHE.

It's a good book. But the only thing why I rate it with 3 stars is that the author tries to discover the reason why Ernesto Guevara de la Serna became the Comandante "Che" Guevara using logical reasoning and history. Sometimes things have no logic. Che is an icon, trying to unwrap his image is like trying to unveil the secret of how life begins. No one knows except God.
