She has a word processor, spreadsheet, data base, and other utilities. Mine has an attitude; I went online and the microsoft update site says the bare-bones Microsoft software needed to be repaired and updated. So far so good I have no complaints about this item apart from an error message I receive concerning the web cam which I'm sure is more of a software problem and just needs to be updated.
The keys are fairly large and easy to make out for those who are not very proficient on the keyboard.
The touch pad responds well and is not too smooth to create that sticky feeling I have had with past notebooks.

I am going to return this laptop because somewhere along the line in manufacturing the necessary "parts" for the webcam to work were left out. The outline and description in the package/instructions shows the webcam and webcam light but they do not function at all! I had it checked out by computer technician who could not find the connection either! Of all the laptops out there, I get the lemon!
