WOW. I searched and searched for the bento box to fit my needs and this is it! It has two compartments and all the utensils you may ever need. I love that it is dishwasher safe AND microwave safe. I don't trust the dishes and silverware at work lol too much food stuck to the "clean" ones, so it's nice to be self sufficient in one cute package. I do wish they snapped together or something I'm not sure how long the band will hold up but time will tell. I also didn't expect the containers to be so shallow. Sometimes my frozen chicken strips are thick so it doesn't close all the way. It doesn't stop me. I stack it all up and when it thaws it usually will close completely then. Considering getting a second so I can rotate them out during the week.

Every thing is secured besides the eating utensils and I do with there were small rubber sleeves for them but other than that they are great small actually keeps my food warm up to like 4 hours ( when you know that food is steamy being packaged) is about why it had 4 hours washes easy and i dropped it 2 pretty sturdy and doesn't come undone just the loud noises from the eating utensils 👍

I was surprised by the amount of space i had to work with storing food in it! Although i wouldnt say its leak proof...the band it comes with only keeps the components from flying off everywhere but i can't in confidence throw this in a bookbag with other sensitive products. I suggest you buy a small lunch bag with this to secure it from accidentally spilling and to keep it warm...

The utensils are mediocre at best but get the job done. I would replace them with higher quality ones if you could

Other than that it will certainly impress those around you.

It's a nice little box. I thought it would be too big because of the two layers, but I found it works almost perfectly! Have protein and carbs in one, and fruits and veg in the other. I haven't had any issues with the box leaking but the sauce cup you need to make sure it's on tight or it will leak. I found the chopsticks to be a little small for my liking but it was needed for them to fit, I also liked how the chopsticks are textured at the bottom for a better grip. Overall I definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to make their own Bento and take it to school or work!

Seems good so far. Just got it haven’t used it with food yet but it does seem like it has enough space for a good packed lunch. Although I am disappointed it didn’t come with a bag, in all the pictures and reviews I’ve seen it comes with a white bag and I did not get one. It would have been nice so I can store it in the bag and put it into my backpack to help store it against accident leaks or spills.

Good but overpriced

This bento box does what a bento box does.

The main issue I have is that it's more difficult to clean if it contained fatty or oily foods prior. The fat/grease would smear, leaving a streak. Letting it soak in soap water doesn't help. So I have to scrub it off somewhat roughly with a sponge and soap water. It's especially hard when the fat/grease gets in the very perpendicular edges.

Comparing cleaning the fat/oil to glass containers, the glass ones are 100% easier, especially since the edges are curved rather than a 90 degree angle.

Other than that, I think the price can be lowered, especially since the bag is not included. The bag, which is sold separately is a bit lower than the price of the bento box. So, you're spending close to $75 for this whole package.

The bag doesn't have any special compartments. Its main use is to fit your bento boxes and insulate it. The bag does feel quite durable, but I don't think it's worth around $30 (at the time I bought it) for the size of this type of insulated bag.

RECOMMENDATION:
Perhaps try the cheaper alternatives that includes a bag first. You may even resort to wrapping your bento boxes in a sort of towel like the Japanese actually do for an alternative carry. See if fat cleans off well, and if not, it's probably the same type of bento box plastic as this one.

I bought this for my husband. It is indeed leak proof which is good. But I think the portion wise is not really an optimum. I would prefer a bit higher and a bit bigger compartments, although I still won't go with the square shape that other brands have to offer as that one is too bulky to carry around backpack or lunch box.
It would also be great if the utensils would be stuck in one place with a holder. Instead they just roll around the little tray. Overall a good buy but not an excellent one.
