The primary reason to get this band is because it fits over the Halo tracker. Comfort is not as good as the original Halo bands because the material is harder and less flexible. You must also pop the tracker out of the band to charge it. After a few days, neither issue is a showstopper. You get used to the less comfortable band, and popping it out to charge. My practice is to charge the band nightly, when I get ready for bed. The band is always 100% charged in about 15-25 mins depending on usage, and therefore always ready to record sleep statistics.
The Mocodi design also helps protect the tracker face. I put a film protector on the tracker face, and I have to replace that film often, especially after just a weekend of gardening.. Apparently my gloves rub the corner of the film enough to start lifiting the film. With the Mocodi, I have not had to replace a film since initial purchase.
My tracker was replaced by Amazon, but the replacement was just as bad at holding onto the band as the original. Rather than get a new band that uses the Amazon attachment method, I wanted something that bypasses the flawed band attachment design. I have not had the band attachment issue with my previous Fit Bit Charge 3.
