Book came with no issues or damage. Bought for a friend so I can't speak as a fan, but wanted to say that this art book is printed in regular manga fashion; back to front. If this is something that might bother you, maybe second guess the purchase. It's all wonderful art though, so I doubt it should make a difference, but nobody else mentioned it. (Just a warning to parents maybe thinking it could be in error) :)

Great book bad shipping
The book is awesome it’s great for any big Fullmetal Alchemist fans out there! The shipping however wasn’t good. When I got my book the corners were all smashed, there was a weird sticky red line on one of the pages, there was a big crease along the back of the book, and there was a huge deep cut in the spine of the book. As a collector this was absolutely unacceptable! I did however get a replacement it was better but still not the best it could be.

Just like I said in the title, this book is simply gorgeous. The artwork already speaks for itself but I’m even more impressed by the quality of the book. The binding holds up great and the paper stock is nice and thick with a slight gloss finish. If you’re a fan of the manga or anime, you will love this book. Even if you’re not a fan or are unfamiliar with Fullmetal alchemist, you will still love this book. Hiromu Arakawa’s Art is fantastic.

I read the last few reviews saying it wasn’t packaged well and their copies arrived with damaged corners (show pictures, you dingbats). Mine turned out just fine with no outstanding dings.
As for the actual book, I haven’t purchased any of the past art books so I don’t know what to base this specific review on (but i heard they left out Arakawa’s comments which makes me sad). Other than that- it has pretty drawings on good quality paper. It’s a great purchase if you love Hiromu Arakawa’s art and Fullmetal Alchemist.
