Top customer reviews
The tone of the book is rather scientific and dry...not very engaging. A good deal of information seemed overly technical and irrelevant to my home gardening view of potatoes.
The reason I gave a rating of 2 stars was because I was looking for a more introductory, accessible, and somewhat entertaining book. Instead I received a book that is a more academic treatment of the subject. The depth and quality of the information is very good.
Again, if you're a grower or scientifically-oriented gardener (with some horticulture background) this is the book for you. Otherwise, look for something that is aimed solely for the home gardener
